Education for 无家可归的人 Children and Youth Policy
The Granada Hills Charter ("易胜博APP,“特许学校”或“学校”)理事会希望确保无家可归的儿童和青少年:
- are provided with equal access to its educational program
- have an opportunity to meet the same challenging California academic standards
- are provided a free and appropriate public education
- are not stigmatized or segregated on the basis of their status as homeless

Definition of 无家可归的人 Children and Youth
“无家可归的儿童和青年”一词被定义为缺乏固定生活的个人, regular and adequate nighttime residence due to 经济困难. It includes children and youths who (42USC 11434(a)):
- Are sharing the housing of other persons due to loss of housing, 经济困难, or a similar reason; are living in motels, 酒店, trailer 公园 or camping grounds due to the lack of alternative adequate accommodations; are living in emergency or transitional 避难所; are abandoned in hospitals; or are awaiting foster care placement;

无家可归的人 status is determined in cooperation with the parent or guardian. In the case of unaccompanied youth, status is determined by the 学校联络.

In accordance with federal law and best practices, 易胜博APP将确保学校联络员每年至少接受一次培训, and the training should include the definition of homelessness, signs of homelessness, the impact of homelessness on youth, 以及一旦学校工作人员确定一个青少年可能正在经历无家可归，LEA应该采取的步骤.
The 学校联络 shall ensure that (42 USC 11432(g)):

招生
易胜博APP下载应立即录取/招收学生(取决于特许学校的能力，并根据易胜博APP特许学校和董事会政策中规定的程序), even if the student lacks school records normally required for enrollment. Records will immediately be requested from the previous school. (42 USC 11432(g)(3)(C).)

登记纠纷
If a dispute arises over admissions/enrollment, the student shall be immediately admitted, pending resolution of the dispute. (42 USC 11432(g)(3)(E).)

Granada Hills Charter shall provide written notice, at the time any child or youth seeks enrollment in 易胜博APP, and at least twice annually while the child or youth is enrolled in 易胜博APP, to the parent or guardian of the child or youth (or, in the case of an unaccompanied youth, 青年)认为:
- 应由父母或监护人签署(如为无人陪伴的青少年，则由青少年本人签署);
- Sets forth the general rights provided in this policy;
- Specifically states:
